DEI and Your Organization
DEI and Your Organization

The acronym "DEI", for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, has recently become a lightning rod in the political landscape. Some even derisively call it "Didn't Earn It". There are strong feelings about it, with some feeling they are being displaced to accommodate others less qualified, and others seeing it as an effort to correct past wrongs. BDSM organizations are not immune from these issues. In fact, these issues have become a topic for discussion and debate for a while now. How do we navigate the waters of race, gender, and other related issues within our organizations and communities? How do we have a dialogue that allows us to address these issues in our organizations without feeding the fire? Can we deal with these matters in our communities and organizations in a way that is positive and productive and that show compassion and empathy? Sir Guy explores this topic in a frank discussion of race, racism and your organization.
