LeatherChaplain

LeatherChaplain (they/it) is a progressive urban monastic, chaplain, educator, and community servant rooted in pastoral ministry from Phillips Theological Seminary and shaped by more than twenty years in kink and polyamorous communities.

Their work focuses on spiritual care for people often underserved by traditional faith spaces, exploring the intersections of spirituality, sexuality, identity, grief, and meaning-making. They are known for facilitating Deconstruction Bible Studies for kink and poly communities and for teaching on topics including religious trauma, ritual, mortality, and pastoral care.

In addition to chaplaincy, LeatherChaplain has served in both project-based and long-term administrative roles, supporting individuals and organizations with everything from doctoral thesis formatting to cross-cultural communication. Whether navigating differences in language, customs, or expectations, their work is grounded in service, connection, and helping people build understanding across communities.
